Outgrown
For this project I recreated my childhood photographs to show the passage of time and evolution of girlhood. Throughout this project I am trying to recreate the feeling of nostalgia and childlike wonder while simultaneously showcasing a desperate cling to childhood and my innocence.
I am the same, but I am different. My home is the same, but it too is different. Everything has changed and yet nothing has changed at all. I am watching the aging of everyone around me and I cry for what once was. But what once was will never again be, too much has changed for that to ever be possible. And yet, nothing has changed at all.
